Patricia Street Townhouses

With a previous application (by others) for 7 townhouses on this site having been rejected by BCC due to over-development and strong opposition from neighbours, (client company name) purchased the site and came to Elevation Architecture with the challenge of maximizing site yield while still getting it over the line with Council. Working under strict timeframes, Elevation Architecture designed the Patricia Street Townhouses to consist of 5 two-story townhouses with central driveway access and an upmarket Queenslander-style street appeal. Through effective and collaborative communication, as well as the clever use of stepped boundary retaining walls, we conciliated neighbours and mitigated Council’s concerns over height and bulk. The result is an attractive residential development that was delivered in a short timeframe and maximized investment return for the client.
