Elderslie Childcare Centre

In 2016, Elevation were engaged to design & document a new Childcare Centre located in Elderslie, NSW. The Childcare Centre was to form part of a new estate in the suburb, alongside new residential development, and therefore it was crucial to design a Centre that would take into account the residential scale of surrounding buildings.

The outcome was a double storey Childcare Centre that has a notable presence from the main avenue past the building, but from all other angles appears as two smaller buildings, thanks to the ‘U’ shaped nature of the planning.

Construction on Elderslie Childcare Centre wrapped up in late 2018, with the Centre providing 106 new places for children in the neighbourhood.
