Balham Road Service Station

We were engaged by Beech Constructions to develop an existing DA, and see the project through to construction for United Petroleum. The services station features retail store, commercial kitchen, dining space for the general public, and specialty rest-stop spaces for truck drivers. The site consists of a light vehicle canopy for cars, vans and general road vehicles, a truck fueling canopy for larger commercial vehicles, and large parking area at the back of the site for trucks and commercial vehicles. As Balham Road is situated within an industrial area next to the Archerfield airport, the volume of traffic, particularly trucks and commercial vehicles, is quite high. To address this, Elevation aimed to maintain separation between light vehicle and truck access, allowing trucks to enter and exit safely.
