Arcare Noosa

Arcare Noosa is a facility that has been designed to provide leading aged care to the area, in a building that complements its surrounding streetscape. Elevation Architecture have refined the design to a point where it provides spacious and flowing internal areas for the residents, while simultaneously decreasing the bulk of the building and bringing scale back to the street externally.

To address the local council’s concerns specifically regarding the potential bulk and scale of a building of this typology, the design of this facility is spread across the site and around two courtyard spaces, creating a ‘village’ feel for the residents. From the streetscape, this ‘village’ appears to be a series of smaller buildings through the use of varied yet complementary cladding types and screening solutions.

Providing a total of 91 beds, Arcare Noosa will be a valuable addition to the seniors living landscape in this area.
