Multinail Australia Office

Elevation was engaged by national truss and frame manufacturer, Multinail Australia, to design and develop a new 2,000 sqm premises that would consolidate their previously sprawling industrial and manufacturing facilities.

The clients’ vision was for the building itself to showcase the trusses and frames that they manufacture, demonstrating their products and capabilities through the built form.  They also wanted to create an office environment with a heightened level of amenity for staff and clients.  To fulfill this brief, we designed the building around a central courtyard surrounded by double-height glazing.  We utilised the clients’ own products to achieve enviable ceiling spans, which we highlighted with plywood cladding.

We brought this project all the way through from Concept Design to Construction Documentation, giving us the opportunity to carry through the core values of the company throughout each stage of the design and documentation process.
