KAMAL KOPPARAPU
ARCHITECTURAL GRADUATE
Kamal joined the Elevation team in early 2022, having previously worked in architecture firms of various sizes and undertaking a variety of roles from inception to delivery. Kamal has experience in designing and delivering high-quality built environments across education, residential, government, commercial, health and retail stores. For the past 8 years Kamal has worked exclusively with universities creating their space planning, designing and master planning their campus.
Kamal’s mission and passion is to assist, promote, collaborate and encourage people and communities to understand a buildings’ life cycle better, how they can consume enormous amounts of energy and resources and emit about 40% of the world’s greenhouse gases, and would like to reduce or net-zero it’s impact.
To achieve the above goals, Kamal believes we should use every available technology, tool, and method. He wants to create buildings based on an evidence-based design that can be measured both quantitatively and qualitatively. In the future, Kamal hopes to research, learn, write, and experiment with new age materials and parametric architecture and build a 3D printed house using recycled and locally sourced materials.
Kamal can appreciate this quote from Artist, Sebastian Moody –
“The more you think about it, the bigger it gets”.
